My book reading update!

HEY guys :D How are you peeps?
I'm doing good, busy writing, making a book cover for Madison Louise, and filming a video. fun fun fun. Anyway, i wanted to update you with the 4 books i've read this week. (seriously, i finished 4 books in two days.)

Okay, first up is: MAZE RUNNER by James Dashner

Let me tell you: at first i wasnt sure if i would like it...BUT in the end it turned out pretty well:D

One thing i didnt like was this word: shuck. No clue what it means, but it annoyed me. Kinda a sub for a cuss word or something. Other than that, i enjoyed it!

Okay, book # 2: Percy Jackson  THE LIGHTNING THEIF by Rick Riordan

I know, i'm a little late reading this series..but IT WAS SOO GOOD :)

Two things that made me want to read it: 1. I went to camp this year, and this one girl talked none stop about it.

2. Everyone said how the movie was SOOOO messed up.

And they were right. The movie is wayyyy messed up, i think. I mean, isnt Percy like 12?!?

Anywho, i loved loved loved it. yes, i love Annabeth (and Percy..duh!) and why cant their be such a thing as Camp Half-Blood? :D

Book # 3: As you might of guessed: Percy Jackson SEA OF MONSTERS

Loved this book too. !!! And Grover tricking the cyclops into thinking he was a girl?!?! Genius! And, Tyson...he rocked. I think its cute how much he LOVES Percy :) I hope they dont mess up this movie too..... hmph.

and Last but NOT least! Book # 4: Percy Jackson THE TITANS CURSE:

Yay! I wish i brought the next book in the series from the library...but i didnt think i'd read them so quickly. Yet again, i loved this. And i loved the Zoe!!! *SPOILER SPOILER* Why did she have to die!?!? Nooooooooo~

Alright. Thats all for now! I go back to the Library Wednesday...sooo...i'll read the rest of Percy jackson soon (but not soon enough)

Update on my WIP and others..

Hey people!!!
Just wanted to give you some updates and such...

First off, Have you been following the Shadow Future Tour?? If not, you should!!! the book comes out on the 22nd (which is tomorrow!!!!!!) Madison Louise is a good friend of mine (if you dont know, i create her covers:D) SO,, it would be AWESOME to check her out:) Also, if you havent seen the blog tour, click here to see the info. !!!

Alright, secondly, i wanted to update you on how many books i've read so far [in 2012]. Well, the total number is 34 ! it would have been 35 but i stopped reading [Delirium] because i couldnt get into it and i didnt like the use of bad words. I know alot people liked it...but it just wasnt for me :P

ANDDD, for the final update: how my W.I.P. is going. Its going great!! So far, i'm on 11,340 (or so) words and im really enjoying it. Im excited to let you guys read ittt:D

Shadow Future Blog Tour {Stop # 5} Interview with Adskhan!

Hey EVERYONE!!!! remember when i mentioned that i would be in a blog tour? Well, Here is the review!!!!

Christian Beliefs: none, that i can remember.

Other Beliefs: well..unless you call Overshadowers and Undimmed a “belief” :)

Language: It was clean! It did say they swore but none of the words were mentioned (they also said ‘freaking’ but i'm not saying that a bad word...)

Violence: Well, there is one scene that gets sorta violent. There is a car ‘explosion’ and Arnold isn't wearing a seatbelt (Uh oh!) A gun is used (but no one is hurt by it.). Pearl uses the shadows against the Undimmed and people get knocked out.

Romance: Zeke and Josh say that Pearl saw a ‘cute boy’ on her first day of school. It mentions that Pearl had a [few?] boyfriends during the school year. Kissing. (SPOILER)Getting Fastened [married]. Going to prom and Pearl and Mr. someone dancing together. :)

Comments:
Shadow Future was a fascinating tale of a brave girl, Pearl Underwood. When she went through tough times, i could really feel for her. All she wants is to taste some freedom, and its not exactly what she thought it would be. The story may be a short read compared to other novels, but it it jammed full with action, mystery, romance, and thrilling powers. in the beginning, the story immediately drew me in and intrigued me. I loved how all the characters were portrayed, and all their personalities were unique! All my expectations were blown away and the twists throughout the story kept me on my toes! I cant wait for the next book and see more of Pearl, Max, Adskhan, Arnold, Zeke, and Josh ...and a few others!

How many words do I get? Well, it’s rather enjoyable, until someone misbehaves, that is.

hmm..What do you think of Pearl?She’s a very trying girl. I think she likes to try my patience out, and she regrets it afterwards. But if she listens, and does what she’s told, she’s very enjoyable to be around.

Do you have any friends or are you more of a loner?
Loner? I’m Leader, and a Leader doesn’t have any time to have ‘friends’. I just do my job, and that’s telling everyone what else to do. Mostly Pearl.

So, how do you like being Leader?You’re not supposed to enjoy being a Leader, but if i have to answer that, i do enjoy it.

Now i have a more serious question: Does the idea of getting Fastened make you nervous?
A man shouldn't be nervous,he’s in charge of course. But i guess i am a little. But i think when we get past the awkward stage, everything will be fine.
